The Healing Power of Music
Led by John Cramer
When thinking about the healing power of music, two distinct approaches exist. “Music healing” combines rhythm and melody into songs created to influence the emotions and the mind first and the physical body second. “Sound healing” treats the body through resonance in specific tones and mantras first and affects the emotions and mind second. John leads his participants through both approaches in an engaging and interactive way. He helps teams: Learn how music-making can help us to feel bolder and less afraid; Experience music as a vehicle through which one expresses their inner connectedness to the universe; Understand how music can be a healing force to overcome the anxiety of separateness in a world so often perceived as hostile; Discover how music can support and reassure our united sense of harmony and purpose. John is a professional musician who performed for many years in Germany’s Giessener Stadttheater Symphony Orchestra.
