Veronica's journey is deeply rooted in her California upbringing and a lifelong commitment to leadership and service. Growing up in Ventura, California, Veronica developed a love for the beach and the vibrant community around her. She later moved to Sacramento, where she began a career in state government.
Veronica holds a bachelor's degree in Political Science from Chico State. In the early days, she worked as a waitress and bartender, which she credits her intuitive ability to read people and foster connections, skills central to her consulting success. After graduation, her career started at the Ventura County District Attorney's Office as an entry-level caseworker, where her knack for connecting with people and building relationships became evident. Over two decades in child support services saw Veronica rise from caseworker to leadership roles, including a significant statewide technology project for California's child support system. Her ability to train and manage change across diverse groups was pivotal in her career. In addition to her public service, Veronica gained valuable experience in private sector consulting, further honing her leadership and training expertise. Throughout these career changes, she solidified her reputation as a compassionate and effective leader.
Now living in Lodi, California, Veronica values family and community, often visiting her loved ones in Ventura. Her experiences have shaped her into a leader and coach who prioritizes kindness and authentic connection. She is dedicated to making work feel viscerally more human.
