Kimberly’s Story
In her previous roles as Deputy Director and Chief of Staff for the City of Seattle’s Department of Human Resources, Kimberly played a pivotal role in operationalizing workforce equity initiatives into the department’s core business lines. In her current capacity as the Chief Human Resources Officer for the City of Seattle, she bears the responsibility of leading a diverse and dynamic team to facilitate all core human resource functions for the City’s 13K employees.
Kimberly earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Policy Studies - Economics from Reed College, a Master of Business Administration from American University’s Kogod School of Business, a Master of Legal Studies from American University’s Washington School of Law, and she is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Learning and Organizational Change at Baylor University.
